The problem
Budget, gifts and booked revenue live in three places
Boards ask how fundraising tracks against budget, but the budget is in Sage Intacct, gifts in Bloomerang and booked revenue in the ledger. Lining them up by account, with pledges apart from cash, is a monthly spreadsheet chore.
Without PopdockAI
- Export the budget from Intacct
- Export gifts and pledges from Bloomerang
- Pull booked revenue from the ledger
- Map funds to accounts in a spreadsheet
With PopdockAI
- Active funds are mapped to their revenue accounts
- Budget to date and full budget are read per account
- Raised, new pledges, open pledges and booked revenue are kept apart
- Shortfalls, overruns and gaps are flagged, and nothing is changed

**Objective:** Show how fundraising is tracking against Sage Intacct budget `{budget-id}` from `{start-date}` to `{end-date}` (default: today), account by account: what was budgeted, what Bloomerang has raised, what Intacct has booked, and what open pledges are still to come. Change nothing.
**Step 1: Map funds to accounts (Bloomerang)**
Call `bloomerang-get-fund` with `active` true and group the funds by `general-ledger-class`. Those account numbers are the gift revenue accounts this report covers.
**Step 2: Read the budget (Intacct)**
Call `intacct-get-budget` with `budget-id` to confirm the budget exists. Then, for each gift revenue account, call `intacct-get-budget-detail` with `budget-id` and `account-number`. Total `amount` for the periods whose `period-start-date` falls inside the date range (the budget to date), and for all periods (the full budget).
**Step 3: Read what was raised (Bloomerang)**
For each fund, call `bloomerang-get-designation` with `fund-name` and `created-date.from` / `created-date.to` set to the range. Total money received (donations, recurring donations and pledge payments) apart from new pledges, and never add a pledge to the payments made against it. Total `pledge-balance` on pledges as the open pledges still to come. Say in the report that Bloomerang is counted by entry date.
Call `bloomerang-get-campaign` with `active` true, and note any campaign that ends inside the range with its `goal` and `raised`.
**Step 4: Read what was booked (Intacct)**
For each account, call `intacct-get-general-ledger-detail` with `account-number`, `entry-date.from` / `entry-date.to` set to the range, and `reporting-method` set to Accrual (rows repeat per reporting method), and net credits minus debits.
**Step 5: Report**
A table, one row per account: account and title, funds mapped to it, budget to date, raised in Bloomerang, new pledges, booked in Intacct, raised as a percentage of budget to date, full budget, and open pledge balance. Under it:
* the largest shortfall and the largest overrun against budget to date
* any account where raised and booked differ by more than 5%, with a suggestion to run the reconcile-fund-revenue prompt for it
* the campaigns ending inside the range, with goal and raised
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Tools named bloomerang- are on the Bloomerang MCP server; tools named intacct- are on the Sage Intacct MCP server. Both servers must be connected.
* Read only. Do not call `intacct-create-budget`, `intacct-update-budget`, `bloomerang-update-campaign`, `bloomerang-update-fund` or any other add, create or update tool.
* Pass dates to both servers as YYYY-MM-DD. Omit `company` on Intacct calls unless the user names one.
**Validation:**
* If the budget does not exist, say so, list the budgets an unfiltered `intacct-get-budget` call returns, and stop.
* If a gift revenue account has no budget lines, show it with a budget of zero and flag it rather than leaving it out.
* If a fund has a blank `general-ledger-class`, list it under the table as unmapped, with what it raised.Who it's for
