The problem

Focus time that may not follow incident priority

Focus time is logged against TickTick tasks while incident priority sits in ServiceNow. Nobody can easily tell whether hours go to critical incidents or low priority ones, because the two never meet in one view.

Without PopdockAI

  • Export focus sessions from TickTick
  • Pull the incident number from each task title
  • Look up priority and state in ServiceNow
  • Total the time per incident by hand

With PopdockAI

  • Focus sessions and cited incident numbers are read
  • Each incident's priority and state come from ServiceNow
  • Urgent incidents with no focus time are named
  • Low priority incidents over 25 percent of time are flagged, and nothing is changed

Prompt
**Objective:** For focus sessions started on or after `{since-date}`, work out how much time went into tasks that cite a ServiceNow incident, and compare it with the incident priority.

**Step 1: Focus sessions (TickTick MCP)**

Call `ticktick-get-focuses` with `start-time.from` set to `{since-date}`. If `{project-name}` is given, only consider sessions whose tasks belong to that TickTick project. Each session has `task-id`, `task-titles` and `duration-seconds`. Call `ticktick-get-tasks` when you need the title or content of a task to find its number.

**Step 2: Find the incident numbers**

In the task titles, look for INC followed by digits. Group sessions by incident number and total `duration-seconds`. Sessions on tasks that cite no number go into an 'other work' total.

**Step 3: Look the incidents up (ServiceNow MCP)**

For each number call `servicenow-get-incident` with `number` set to it. Keep priority, state and assigned-to. Where the incident is missing, mark it not found.

**Step 4: Report**

A table: incident number, short description, priority, state, total focus time (hours and minutes), session count. Then totals for incident work and other work, and a line naming any 1 - Critical or 2 - High incident with no focus time, and any 4 - Low incident that took more than 25 percent of the total.

**Rules & Guidelines:**

* `ticktick-get-focuses` and `ticktick-get-tasks` are on the TickTick MCP server. `servicenow-get-incident` is on the ServiceNow MCP server.
* Read-only. Do not call `ticktick-add-focus-session`, `ticktick-delete-focus-session` or `servicenow-update-incident`.

**Validation:**

* If there are no focus sessions in the range, say so and stop.
* A priority 1 - Critical or 2 - High incident that has no TickTick task cannot appear here; do not invent one.
