The prompt
Use this prompt
Copy it into any AI tool connected to PopdockAI. Swap the values in braces for your own.
**Objective:** Triage the open Asana tasks that are overdue or due within the next `{days-ahead}` days (default 7), for the assignee `{assignee-name}` and/or the project `{project-name}`. At least one of the two must be given.
**Step 1: Resolve the scope**
* If `{assignee-name}` and `{project-name}` are both empty, ask the user for one and stop.
* If `{assignee-name}` is given, call `asana-get-user` with `name` set to it (or `name.contains` if nothing matches exactly). If more than one user matches, list them with their email and stop. Record the `user-id`.
* If `{project-name}` is given, call `asana-get-project` with `name` set to it to confirm the exact project name. If more than one matches, list them and stop.
**Step 2: Pull the open tasks**
Call `asana-get-tasks` with `completed` set to false and `due-on.to` set to today plus `{days-ahead}` days. Add `assignee-id` when an assignee was resolved, and `projects` (the exact project name) when a project was resolved.
**Step 3: Rank**
Split the tasks into **Overdue** (due before today) and **Due soon** (due today or later). Sort Overdue by days overdue, most overdue first; sort Due soon by due date. For each task suggest one next move: finish, reschedule, reassign, split, or close as no longer needed. Base the suggestion on how late it is and whether it has a start date, subtasks (a parent-task) or an approval status.
**Step 4: Report**
A table per group: task name, project, assignee, due date, days overdue (or days left), suggested move, and the task url. Finish with a one-line total: X overdue, Y due soon.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Read-only. Do not call `asana-update-task`, `asana-move-task-to-section`, `asana-create-comment` or any other create, update, add or move tool, even if a fix is obvious. Recommend; do not act.
* Tasks with no due date are out of scope; mention how many were skipped only if the user asks.
**Validation:**
* If no tasks come back, say that nothing is overdue or due soon for that scope.
* If more than 100 tasks come back, report the 25 most overdue in detail and summarize the rest by project.
