Find every Mem note on a topic, whatever the collection
For teams whose notes are scattered across collections and who want to ask their AI assistant what Mem already holds on a subject.

Connect Mem, pick your AI tool and paste the prompt.
The problem
Rewriting notes you already have
A topic in Mem rarely lives in one place, with notes filed in different collections or left unfiled. Browsing one collection at a time misses most of them, and you end up rewriting something you already captured.
Without PopdockAI
- Browse collections one by one
- Scroll through unfiled notes
- Try different words for the same topic
- Give up and write the note again
With PopdockAI
- Note titles are searched across every collection
- A named collection is confirmed before searching it
- A shorter keyword is tried if nothing matches
- Matches come back newest first, read only

**Objective:** Find the notes about {topic} in Mem, optionally limited to the collection titled {collection-title}, and show the most relevant ones.
**Step 1: Narrow the scope**
If {collection-title} is given, call mem-get-collections with itle set to it. If it matches no collection or more than one, list what matched and stop. Otherwise note the collection id.
**Step 2: Search**
Call mem-get-notes with itle.contains set to {topic} (and collection-id if you have one), with max-records 25. If nothing comes back, try one shorter keyword from the topic and say you did.
**Step 3: Report**
A table of title, collection, updated-at and snippet, newest first, then one sentence on which note looks most central and why.
**Rules & Guidelines:**
* Read only. Never call mem-create-note, mem-update-note, mem-delete-note, mem-trash-note, mem-restore-note, mem-move-note, mem-add-note-to-collection, mem-remove-note-from-collection, mem-set-note-created-date, mem-create-collection, mem-update-collection, mem-delete-collection or mem-mem-it.
* Do not show notes whose rashed-at is set unless the user asks for them.
**Validation:**
* If {topic} is empty, ask for it and stop.
* If no notes match, say so rather than guessing.Who it's for

How it works
What PopdockAI does when you ask
You name a topic and optionally a collection, and your AI assistant searches your Mem note titles for it. It only reads, and trashed notes stay hidden.
01
Ask
You name a topic and, if you like, a collection.
02
Narrow
If you named a collection, it confirms exactly one matches before going on.
03
Search
It looks for the topic in note titles, and retries with a shorter keyword if nothing comes back.
04
Report
You get a table of notes with snippets, newest first, and the most central note.
